1975 T/A Wipers

Putting the car back together, and it needed a new Wiper Motor. The Wipers work but, don't return all the way, or go all the way down inside the hood, unless you give them a little nudge by hand. Why wouldn't they return all the way on their own? :confused:

MA are the wipers rubing the hood check for clearance as you may have to find a low profile wiper as mine rubed too

according to GM's diagnosis chart:
Blades do not return to full park position---Loose wiper graound strap connection--Tighten strap connection
