Default My New Truck

I just bought a new Toyota Tundra truck. This is the first foreign vehicle I have owned. It has the new drive train they just came out with. It's a 5.7 Liter V-8, 4 valves per cylinder, 381 HP, 401 lb-ft of torque and a 6 speed automatic. It will tow 10,000 pounds. I got it right off of the freight hauler last night with 4 miles on the odometer. Now I have to get rid of my '84 GMC dually and my 2000 Durango.

It's all Robert Johnson's fault!

Congrats, I think you will be very happy with it. I drove them in January and was very impressed with the handling, power, ride and braking compared to the other 1/2 ton trucks.

The only thing wrong with Toyota is that they cannot spell the word "TURD" right .I mean why pay all that money for stickers that are misspelled "TRD"? Maybe the U is just very small?

Just kidding Jim !

The mileage is advertised as 16 town and 20 highway. I don't know yet what mine is getting. I have a 200 Durango with the 5.9L. The best it does is 16 highway and about 12 in town.

Sounds like and awesome truck, plenty of power, that's what's most important
when your towing. Good looking truck too. Toyota as a rule is a good truck.
