If you look at my site. I don't list a pump gas solid roller 750hp crate engine. I'm into the non adjustable maintainance free style hydraulic roller combos. I do say that with the 505/535 you can make 750hp on pump gas.

My personal 535 with a hyd roller and basic E-heads (Victor and 1050) made about 635hp plus, if ya do the math with track results and on the chassis dyno.
And looking to make over 700hp plus with the CV-1 heads. I think there is a possibility of making 750 hp stepping up the 'hyd roller' profile over the one I'm running and getting into porting the CV-1 heads.

Hey, If Chevy can do it we in the Pontiac community can do it. Been a long time coming for Pontiac street/strip racers.

and will build it if a customer is interested.

P Dude:The reason I'm going to bust your balls in good fun is what goes around comes around. I was down at KRE Friday afternoon killing time. I'm semi retired now social security will only let me make so much money a month after you pay all your life they try to starve you from 62 till 66 when you can make all you want. Anyhow enough crying on that subject. One of your customers that you built a 505 solid roller for and told him it should make somewhere around 750 hp. He didn't think it was making the power it should and sent the motor up to KRE to dyno, If it was within 20 or 30 hp I wouldn't bust you . On dyno it made594.7 hp at 6100 rpm and 599 trq at 4800 rpm. Dude that's over 150 hp off the mark a little much don't you think? The good thing it is still running it didn't blow up on dyno. I'm not sure what customer wants to do at this point I didn't ask Jeff but I would guess he will probably want to put a set of HP's on it and make some power.

It says that Roberts did some work on the block and that made it unreturnable?

Can you tell us what he did?

Also says they tested it and came up with the same results. Pay attention
to this recall letter...in my opinion...dosen't matter if it tested bad he should get his money back. Here's a copy of the recall letter.

PS: what's this "AS IS" bull shit.............hum $750,000.00

From what I under stand the lifter bores needed fixing so Central Machine had repaired them. The block was ship to them...they where
building his motor. The testing of the block didn't happen until the
recall letters where sent out...when it got tested it was found to be
defective, then was sent to Kauffman and they aggreed but refuse
to refound his money because the lifter bores had been fixed. Also
keep in mind that K&M wasn't really a company..didn't exist. How can
you send out recall letters then deny a refound, because defective lifter bores where being replaced or remachined because they where off center.

PS: the sad part about this whole thing is all they had to do was
replace the block and all of this would have gone away a year ago
instead they choose to drag it all out, if you making $750,000.00
a year...what the hell is $2800. Sounds like the framers are opening
the door for future law suits against themselfs...don't know if
running out to LLC up.. will save them...it all could have been put
out of peoples minds and they could have move on. Possibly have
gain back the good business name...in my opinion all they've done
is muddy up the waters for years to come. I guess if you've milk
cows all your life you need the smell of shit around to feel good.

The Dude can't hold everyone's hand when it comes to having the motor work correctly. Carb, headers, exhaust, ign, tuning.............and so on. I would say unless it was sold "off the dyno, complete ready to run" with a dyno sheet and then found it was making less on another "EQUAL" dyno then there would be an issue.

That's some compelling reading. I wonder if the court that made this ruling is aware that KRE was not a LLC at the time the MR-1 block in question was sold? Not that it would have made any difference in the ruling, as the ruling is based on whether or not the Ohio court system has jurisdiction over a non-resident as the facts are presented in this case. One judge thinks they don't, but majority rules 2-1. Don't know if Roberts has any more appeal options. If not, the next step is courtroom proceedings, where witnesses will be called and other evidence will be presented, and it's all going to be centered around this MR-1 block that was sold. It should get REAL compelling then.

Unbelievible. First the block's material is sub- par, then they sue the first person to bring that issue to light as they try to claim it's the customers fault the casting material is garbage. Not a good future business move. And I had high hopes that they were building and making good products now plus moving on from the past, guess it's all about trying to get someone else to pay for their foundries mistakes. sad, very sad.
