If you do the calcs on 35 psi its like 28.66 to 1 ratio with a static ratio of 9.6 to 1.

E85 might be cooler but its only rated to 105 octane tops.....

I think itís the nature of the beast with both those exhaust valves being so close.
Its why the Arrow (H&M) RAV with no pushrod will be where its at. I would like them not to only make the 8 deg giant raised port version but the lower profile 10 deg head too.
Dave can make them to fit a 4.155 bore, factory block deal. There is enough room to make the port any size and shape you want for whatever bore size you have,
They are the future of reliable, high end Pontiac racing IMO.

I do know..on pump gas, with 10.75 compression I blow a head gasket after 15 runs. The heads were used, but I checked the head surface it was fine, but did a clean up any way.

That was with Copper head gasket... copper coated. As I was told to use.

Kinsler said he would get 10-15 runs but once he had the inserts done, 50 runs. I donít think playing around on the street, puts the same load as going rounds at strip with 15.1 compression and race fuel. Which I think burn hotter the E-85. I could be wrong.

Lou with your pump gas deal @ 10.75:1 you could have got away using the Felpro 1016 or if you were worried about it the Cometic MLS gasket.

No need for copper head gaskets on that type of deal unless yer going nuts on power adders and have everything set on kill on every pass like a fuel dragster that has to tear the engine down every round ! LOL
