Default Wanted: Drivers side hood hinge for 78 T/A

I'm looking for a drivers side hood hinge for my 78 T/A as mine is bent and hits my newly installed line lock.

Thanks,
Johnny

I think I can help you out John. If you pm me your add'y with zip code, I can figure out the shipping cost to find out if it's worth your while from up here in Canader. Woult it be ok if I removed the spring to collapse the hinge and save on shipping cost?

Yep. He emailed me a while ago and told me he found one in a local wrecking yard.

Thank you both!!

Funny story, I couldn't find one when I was looking, then ran into a 80-81 Firebird while looking for truck parts...

That is always the way it happens....I'm missing two little brackets that mount the front brake lines to the frame. I had the damn things. Even cleaned them up and painted them all nice. But when I removed from the cardboard they were painted on I decided to put them in a safe place so I would not lose them. Well they are safe...I can't locate them...Figures

Yeah, over the years I've come up with lots of "safe" places and over the years I've forgotten where most of them are I swear I could probably build another car with the parts I've hidden away if I could just find them.

Let me know if you don't find them. I still have a couple of spare sub frames kickin around. I may still have a set on one of them. The down fall is you'd have to paint them.

598, if you can wait till weekend after next, i can probably get a set off to you. Have a road trip next weekend and no time during the week. I know I have a set still on the subframe I did up for an engine break-in stand. It likely won't be needing brakes. PM me you add'y if you want 'em. Postage will be on me this time out. I may look for a small favor sometime though. (nothing planned, just in case)
