:Poncho Hello everyone. I just found this site looks great. I have two Pontiacs to share. I have a 1939 Two door Pontiac Silver streak. And I am selling my Brother inlaws 1968 Pontiac firebird Which has a 455 in it from 1970. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Hello, new to Pontiacs for prewar. Just got a 40 series 28 coupe. Just the body for a ratrod.Need help in figuring what other frame may fit for better suspension and fit for a 305/350 pontiac motor/turbo350. Any ideas would be great. Don't want to use stock frontend, mustang 2 front frameclip setup rather expensive. Car has a 120" wheelbase. Thanks, Art.

There may be a few good options, i'm helping another guy with a 41. He's doing a similar swap to what I did with my 55 by using a 58 ball joint front end. The lower arm is a bolt in, the upper mount needs to be built and a few other things need to be done.
I'm getting a 41 2dr ( for some reason I thought 4dr) in a few weeks, I might just use the 55 stuff I have to get a regular shock system and get the disc brake kit that also converts to tapered bearings from Scarebird.
Alot of guys are using the s-10 frames on the 50's truck and some on fendered cars. The reg cab long beds have wheelbases of 118 " or 123" but real close and could be modified to work I would think.

It's been a while since I've been here a lot of stuff has happened through the summer broken bones and such...not much work got done with my '29 but she's still looking good...I've decided to pull the block and have it sent out and looked at professionally.I know the compression is good but I want the babbit checked. There's also an old weld job on the drivers side below the head I'd like checked.Does anyone know where I can get a set of 29 heads and a I'd also like to get another Marvel updraft carb.Spare parts are hard to come by.Still don't know how to post a pic.
