Default Fireball's Paint and body tips thread.

Fireball has a lot of experience trying different paint, products, and the equipment used for the job, so this will be a forum for sharing his knowledge, and answering questions.

He's currently MIA, so i'll lock this thread until he returns.

Hey Fireball - now that you've had some of the Kirker paint on for awhile, how is it holding up on the long term?

Do they ship that to CA. since we have all the EPA police on us?

Pretty good for AZ. if it lasts there, it will last anywhere.

If i were to use this for jams, etc. would i be able to use a different, higher quality brand when i get ready to do the rest of the car?

I'm getting ready to jam the '69 T/A clone before too long, but won't be ready to paint the rest of the car for awhile. maybe i should just do the whole car in Kirker? It'll be a daily driver for my wife.

Is it single stage or 2 stage?

That's pretty damn good for red....red seems to fade really fast. Kinda like silver.

Looks to be about the same red we put on my Bike, which is '06 Ford E4.
