Default 67 GTO clone body work questions

I ordered some body panels for The Parts place inc. for my car restoration.
The quarter panels reproduction skin.
It said
"1966 - 1967 GTO/LeMans) QUARTER PANEL - LH and RH (MUST ALTER FOR 67)"
Now the panel is a few inches long. Has anyone on this forum ever tackled this problem?
Because Iím sort of stuck, and I donít want to do anything until I know 100%
Next stop is the body shop in town if I can't find anything about it soon.
Thanks guys
Chad

Chad,Do you mean it's a few inches longer? If it's longer match it up to where you want to install it and cut it to fit.Its just a skin so you don't even have to use the whole thing. They say you only have to use from the skin what you need. When I installed the skin on my 64 gto I cut off the the front of it because it was good on the car.You see what I mean.If you have a problem take some pictures and post them or email them to me.charlie4166@yahoo.com. and I can try to help you.

skins that they sell for your 67 actually are made for a 66, you will need to cut off back of them about 6 inches, other than that they fit ok

They fit OK, except for the massive waves in them. I had to use them. Sure wish I had a different alternative.
