That was our first car when we got married 69 "Loaded J" 428 H.O.
wish I never sold it. Loved that car. Sold it in 1976 because of the gas prices

I've been looking for one for 20 years, to go along with my '69 Bird.

It has to be Limelight Green with a tan leather interior, 4 speed and a walnut shifter knob.

Nice GP.

about 15 years ago, some friends had to clear a bunch of cars out due to the county getting on to them, so one of the brothers gave me a '69 GP 428/4spd minus engine and trans...black/black, mint interior w/console, small dent in trunk lid, small dent in drivers door, otherwise mint body.

went the next day to pick it up, and the other brother had already scrapped it. :mad:

BTW, was there such thing as an SSJ? can't remember if it had 1 or 2 S's - seems like 2, but i didn't know much about them then and still don't now.

Here's my daily driver.

I drive 3000 miles round trip to a drag race every summer. She spins the street tires to the 1/8 mile mark, but will still do a mid 12.

Mild 400 w/ out of the box E-heads, 3.89 gear, 3000 lbs.

Hello fellow Pontiac Brother's and Sister's.
Most know me from the other board.lol
Pulled the 400 out of the bird after 5yrs. of running to "freshen" her up.
Did the full monty on my 6X heads this time and cc'd them they are at 102-108 cc per chamber and I am VERY po'd cause I was under the impression these 6X-8's were 100+ cc BEFORE milling.
Mine were milled .060 when the build was done 5yrs. ago, I was hoping they were at 80 something.
80hrs. of porting and polishing and I have a less than 9 to 1 motor. Even with 0 deck if my math is right.
Wished I had cc'd them 1st!
Don't have the $$$$ to get another set of heads right now so I'll run what I got I guess.
pics;
