I'm late to the party and a bit curious, why all the trouble for a off set 4.040 stroke with 6.900 rods ? Why did you not just use the standard Scat Forged 4-inch crankshaft with 2.200" journals and BBC 6.8 rods ? Custom pistons are no big deal for the appropriate compression height.

Edit- Never mind, I saw this comment.... "I liked to say Formula 444 dagnabit". Just seems like a lot of headaches. And a fwiw, the cylinder heads and small cam will never put the block "right up to the danger zone hp wise".
