Default hood help

my new hood lines up every where except on the ft side to side. My guess is that I need to loosen the fender hinge bolt on the driver side and shift back a smidgen.
Thought that I would check here first. Any other ideas?

Dan..
How far away from me are you???
I now live in Sheridan..
If you're still around the Salem area...
I could see about hooking up with you, and help you line up the hood...

thanks a bunch Marty. I would hate for you to have to drive all the way for 5 mins work. I think I can get it, I just did not want to open a big can of worms if this was wrong thinking on my part.

first off..
pull the hood latch, so that it doesn't interfere with the hood fit.
Statr at one rear corner.
set length first.
Then with hood down, set rear heigth.
Then do the same to the other side.
If the rear of the hood is aligned the same to both fenders, and are the same heigth.
Then messing with the hinges is over.
Align front sheetmetal to match the front of the hood.
Install hood latch, so that hood will close without slamming.

If one side of the front of the hood is higher then the other..
ad just the hood rest stops

Default Hood Help

I think You may need to loosen the front clip at the frame horns [core support] to align.
