Thumbs up Simms Performance Machining

I installed one of Scott's pieces on my 497. I thought it looked VERY nice and much more importantly so did my machinist who has built all brands from 4bangers to BIG HP blower and /or N2O engines.

Default Need to Contact Sims Performance for Roller Bearing Thrust Plate/Timing Chain Set

Can someone please help me get in touch with Sims Performance Machining? I've called the number (812-579-9815) posted in this forum and get "mailbox is not setup for voicemail" message. Sent message to email address (simsb52@qmix.net); it was returned non-deliverable. Thanks

Called and got the same message. That's funny I bought one from him a while ago ( 3-4 ) and was always able to contact him from that number.

Well that sucks, wanted to buy one after I get my street turbo motor closer to being done. We have one in the IAII nitrous motor already and no problems good product.

I was finally able to get in touch with Scott using this email address: simsb53@gmail.com
He did give me his cell number, but I would have to check with him first about giving it out.

Greetings all, I'm new here and deciding to put my High School car back on the street after som 30 years....marriage and kids.... some me time is necessary. Have collected some parts to do a build before I got married, JW Wheel, Fluid Damper balancer and the first set of Crower forged rods out of the door sold to the public...yes it was that long ago... I saw this sims product and was interested though not able to find any information... asking is anyone knows if they are still produced. Cam retainer and timing set. Thanks for any help

Joe

This is not the Simms setup but on Butler Performance on it front page has a comp cam timing set CCA7112 with a Torrington roller bearing instead of the bronze bushing PS I don't no how long it been on the market. It maybe old news.
