Default New Guy from VA

Greetings Gentlemen,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Bryan. I'm new to the world of Pontiac—even though I've always had a soft spot for them. I'm actually moonlighting from the diamond-star camp... ha:)

Anyway... last Christmas my dad gave me a 1976 Firebird with a 400. He basically bought it new in '77 from my uncle that worked at a Pontiac dealership. It had been sitting for several years. Had the carb & trans rebuilt and added new brakes and tires. Other than a minor exhaust leak and some vacuum issues it ran well. That is until a few weeks ago... spun a rod bearing somewhere around 90-95 mph. Figured this would be a great place to get info for my rebuild! Nice to meet you all...

Regards, xmerlinx
