Default new from Holland

thanks to the World wide web i found this forum,
so here i am, Frans from the Netherlands, infected with the V8 virus more than 20 years ago, i finally found a '71 Formula 400 in good body condition, hard to find, but we got it, its a real mean piece of heavy metal.

the bird is mostly rebuild with stock components except for Pro-Form H.E.I. ignition, wheels, exhaust and edelbrock 1405.

i hope my bad english does not bother too much, but i do my best to write understandable. for anybody who finds errors in spelling, keep them, i dont need them anymore

Welcome! There's a significant "following" in Holland, for the Pontiac. RoadRageDavid's '68 Firebird has been terrorizing the streets for a few years now... (:- He has several friends with Pontiac-powered cars.

Very nice car, watch out for the greenies who like to run muscle cars into ditches because of the global warming scam

UK guy...

Last year at the UK MOPAR "Nationals", a Pontiac Firebid won top eliminator in the "Stock Suspension" class. I guess there aren't enough Mopes to "fill" the field, so all American "muscle" was welcome. Rick Denny's '69 Firebird took the top spot. He was running 11.20s then. He's in the 10s now... (:- Don Hansen, a GI formerly stationed "over there", had his '68 GTO pretty much built during his time there. A yellow convertible, it made "American Muscle Car" magazine (the British publication). LOTS of good Pontiacs across the "pond"...
