No. I got it from some negro up in Drums, PA. He had a roachy-looking Firebird with V heads on it.

Actually, I got that alternator from a '72 Cadillac in a junkyard back in '92. I think it cost me $4.

-'74 455 BLOCK BORED ON POWERHONE WITH TORQUE PLATE
-BLOCK SQUARE DECKED TO PUT PISTON .005" OUT OF BLOCK
-'71 #96 D-PORT HEADS PORTED TO FLOW 240cfm@ .500 - .550" lift & 28"
-FERREA STAINLESS 2.11/1.77 VALVES APPROX .100" LONGER THAN STOCK
-ALL INTAKE RUNNERS FLOW WITHIN 5 CFM OF EACH OTHER, WITH AN AVERAGE OF 240CFM
-ALL INTAKE RUNNERS BETWEEN 165 - 170 CC
-EXHAUST RUNNERS FLOW 70% OF INTAKE
-VALVES UNSHROUDED, AND CHAMBER CC EQUALIZED
-THE CAM IS A SOLID ROLLER CUSTOM GRIND FROM COMP CAMS,GROUND FOR THIS CAR COMBINATION. LIFT IS .565/.552 WITH 236/243 @.050
-CAM IS DEGREED IN AT 4 DEGREES ADVANCED
-SIMS ROLLER CAM THRUST BEARING CONVERSION ON A ROLLMASTER TIMING SET.
-THE CONVERTER IS A 9" ATI BUILT FOR THIS COMBO ALSO.

I run a 505 IA2 with Eagle crankshaft, Eagle bushed rods, Ross pistons, Comp Cams solid roller, Edelbrock 72cc heads prepped by butler performance, Victir intake, and 1050 Dominator. Best et. was 9.69 @ 137 & 60' was 1.30

hmmmm, so that's how Pontiac462 gets the bug catcher so shiny.......


my GP 428 at the moment :mad: . Blown head gasket between 1-3 and 3-5, but it sure is clean inside. Man it would still roast those puny 14's with only 5 good jugs firing!

After looking at these photos i will have to get to work under my hood before i post pic of my motor,maybe i could get that chick to lay on the hood.Then nobody would be looking for a motor.lol
