Default Have you been in HPP magazine's Pavement pounders series or any other magazine?

If you have, or know of someone, post it up here....issue, and car description so that we can check it out.

Doesn't matter how small of a pic, or what magazine.

I was in HPP once....Tom DeMauro tried to slam me in the "Readers Write" section, following an email I had sent to him.

My Trans Am was featured in the "My Pontiac And Me" section in the Aug 2000 issue of HPP magazine. Then later there was a four page feature story about my Trans Am in the Feb '02 issue of HPP magazine. Title was "The Power Bug" and the feature used to be available on their website.

Other tid bits....

A two page feature in the June '01 Smoke Signals magazine.

A picture and mention of the car getting the "Editor's Choice Award" at the Pontiac Southern Nationals Car Show in the Jan '06 HPP.
The car also got a mention about the win in the "PRO" class at that years PSN race in Dallas.

In the Sept/Oct 2001 issue of Pontiac Enthusiast magazine there was a picture of the car with caption about our win at the PSN race in the Pro Eliminator class.

Another picture of the car with caption in a feature about the Pontiac Southern Nationals in the Sept/Oct 1999 issue of Pontiac Enthusiast.

A picture of my Trans Am with caption about the car in the PSN race in the March '06 issue of HPP. Also in that same issue was a picture of John Dinkels Fairmont, with a mention that the Pontiac engine used in his car was an old engine out of my Trans Am. There was also another picture of the Fairmont and a mention of using my old motor in the Jan '05 issue of HPP.

A picture of the car and mention in the "Hometown Hot Rodding" section in the Jan 2000 issue of Popular Hot Rodding magazine.

A picture of the car in the Feb 2000 issue of HPP within their coverage of that years PSN race.

In the May 2000 issue of Popular Hot Rodding in the "Mailbox" section there was a picture of my car and a letter from someone who wrote in about it.

In the May 1993 issue of Muscle Monthly, which was the the official journal of National Muscle Car Assoction, it had the list of 1993 NMCA National Record holders at the time. My Trans Am held the National Record for ET and MPH in "F" Top Stock class.
