What year Firebird are you working on?
If it's a 70 or newer then yeah the patches will work.
69 or older, you'll need to stay as low as possible

plus the contour of the lower fender on a 70-81 bird are different then a maro. there is a slight indentation along the bottom portion of the car all the way down the side of the car it is very suttle but there.

also on the bird the center of the fender and door have a soft bodyline and the maro has a harder line.

Sounds like I learned something new..
Really didn't know that there was such a significant difference in the 2nd. gen cars.
Other then the tail lights and fronts
