Default I Did It!!

Norwalk Tri-power Nationals,11.91 & 11.92 going thru traps at 104. Posting my slips, only had 3 .5 fuel pressure, blocked filter & vent. Running Quaker City dragway this week. I probably won,t be back here, enjoy yourselfs fella,s

3.5 fuel pressure sounds like it was falling off on the top end, that would explain the mph. Again Congrats Rich.

Oh wanted to add, its solidly in the 11s. Great Job Rich all your hard work paid off

60211 Crower Hydraulic camshaft with 1.65 Rockers, 400 turbo with 4000 stahl, 410 gears, aluminum heads with Ruggles prepped q-jet. RPM intake. MSD dsitrib, locked out, timing all in by 3,000 rpm. Intake duration 296 exhaust 308 Lift .508 intake .516 exhaust. With me in car 3700 pounds

4 - Hi-Draulic Hauler - Rough idle. Explosive mid-range power and torque.
INT/EXH - Dur @ .050 Lift: 236/242 RR: 1.5/1.5 Gross Lift: .509/.516 LSA: 108 RPM: 3000 to 6500 Redline: 6500

But he has 1.65 rocker so its .050 more lift .559/.566 installed at 104 has 4 degrees advance built into it

My engine builder years ago used that cam....


4.250 stroke/4.185 bore /6.8 rods, 87cc Edelbrock heads- cleaned up only & good valve job, no significant port work, 10.3 compression. With with 1.6 rockers, Performer RPM intake w/1-inch carb spacer & Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb, 1 7/8" headers.

570.7 ft. lbs torque at 4200 rpm / 509.2 hp at 5200 rpm

From my copy of one dyno sheet. It went 513 hp at 5300 rpm on another pull.

Thats a nice little cam isnt it. His mph is a tad low, I think with fuel problem resolved he could pick up some more ET.

What was your shift rpm ? And mph going thru the traps ?
