Default Tiny Homes

They have been pushing this for some time now but recently at a local home show they have been advertising these so called tiny homes (fancy name for a shed). they showed some 20'x20' so called home and said it cost $180,000.
Is this for real?
cant you buy an RV cheaper than that and drive it around?

Its a big thing now. $180,000. Though is a rip off, you can easily do one for $36-40,000.

People canít afford the Out rages rent, in this area cheapest apartment is $1200.00 a month, for a third floor apartment.

Young professionals are building out vans living rent free. U-Haul box trucks some of the build outs are really nice. Using solar power, 1000 watts of solar on roofs and powering everything. Most have gym memberships, they use to shower, think like 100.00 a year for memberships.

That fad will last only so long especially when the kids come along .
The other side of the coin is tax revenue for state and local governments.
Believe me they are seriously looking at it from this angle.
How many "tiny homes" (sheds/shacks) can you get on a subdivided parcel of land that is big enough for a standard single family home?
They can generate a lot more revenue from more "owned"dwellings.
The banks will make out too.
Lots more tiny mortgages to make commissions & interest on.
Same goes for "mobile" dwellings ,motor homes, house boats etc. they will be taxed.

The sheds they sell at the box stores are only $3000-$5000.
People can just do up the inside of one of those and enjoy the clown world they want to live in.

Funny thing I was at Home Depot today ( had to look at one ) they had a real nice one for $6200. You could even add a loft for extra bedroom. 224 sq ft. For another 2200.00 you can add a mini Split have heat and AC. Live like a king.

Want to come over for supper..LOL got AC Buddy

And a tiny garage so you can park your "Play School" mini muscle car off the street.
How about some play house furniture to go in that "condito"?
You can get the Susie Homemaker brand of kitchen appliances to go with.
You'll need a hibachi charcoal grill.
A Min-Pin or a Mini-Rotty to guard it all while your away. LOL
