I'm guessing you already know this...There's and old rule of thumb...but it only applies to certain hp levels. Lower levels. Every point in compression is wroth 20 hp....20 hp worth .1 in ET

Buddy's car...462,330cfm E heads,SD OF cam with 1.72 rockers,SD torker 2 ,"Shaker Jeff" 1050 carb,full 3 inch exhaust,3200 continental 3.42 gears...looks like a stock 78 trans am clean

I'm in no rush..Gears and Convertor would get me into the 10's but I like a tuning challenge..little things here and there..I'm revisiting my 1050 Annular Main body swap..I have a dedicated set of metering blocks coming to test..pulling some weight off the front end,adding a torque strap to the engine.....my goal at the start of the year was 11.20's...I've beat that..11.0's to finish the year off would be great

2 new bests..11.1321 @123.33 and...........11.0359 @123.60 with a 1.6080 60 ft....tried a different launch technique..cool air and traction helped too!Other than minor carb tweaks to the 950hp no changes!
