350 chev with 700r4 performance:
Not sure about HP: but here is what I got for others to consider just in case you are looking for a driver.
Installed stock 350 chev from 90 half ton van, stock motor and 700R4 auto trans, with edelbrock performer intake, and edelbrock 650 carb with elect choke. has vintage heat and air system. Installed in a 37 buick two door hump back sedan. has block hugger headers with 2.5 inch exhaust system, flow master mufflers. rearend is from donor 90 S10 small blazer, rear ratio is about 3:56 gears. cruises well at any speed, gets between 15 to 20 mpg on regular basis. Not too bad for a car that large and heavy. used the stock raditor with elect fan, never overheats even in parades. I used the stock lower A-arms and modified them to fit a 92 astro van spindles and disk brakes for the front. used the astro van upper A-arms, used the full size van brackets to weld to the frame and then bolted the astro van upper A-arm. entire conversion cost under 1K, (minus the cost of the vintage AC system)
