I need length of the runners and size of the port for both mani and heads. Then I need a detailed flow numbers at different valve lifts.

I have a question for you guys.I went down to my machinist today and the subject of boost came up.He says not to go more then 10 to 12lbs or it will get messy. When I told him what I had planed on boosting it to he looked at me like I was crazy.
If I don't fill the block what would be the max amount that block might handle??I know its hard to say but for the guys on here with some real world experience maybe you can say.

Thanx.

hard block it half way thats what I do.
Stays even cooler than before.

How much is too much?
Thats like asking when will you die?

Who knows could be tomorrow could be 50 years from now!

There are so many factors involved its rediculous one thigs fr sure though the harder you push it the more likely it is to expire.

Thats just a fact of life, but sometimes you can baby the crap out an engine and it will break too so its all a crap shoot.

JUst keep the set up running slightly rich so it cdoesnt detonate and anything else is just luck of the draw

Will hard block be ok for the street.I want to be abe to drive all day with no problems.
I under stand what your saying about the boost. But there must be a line you would'nt cross,No?I hear about all these guys boosting to 30 pounds and this guy is telling me 10 to 12 max.I was hoping I could at least get to 18 or 20.Just to see what kind of power would be on tap.
