Just joined, I have had my 1977 TA for 8 years. Was a stock L78 car with 52,000 miles and I am the 3rd owner. Only mods to date have been 72cc eheads, rpm performer intake, Comp Roller cam 276, Doug's headers, and new 2.5" exhaust with x-over.

Currently has 2:41 gear, and put in a TCI converter with 2500 stall. Spun a rod bearing so I am currently building a new engine. 1972 455 block .30 over, 4.25" forged crank Scat and will do hbeam rods and dished Pistons forged to keep compression in pump gas range. Will be shooting for 550-600 hp on new engine, want to keep gearing friendly for the street, but don't want a total turd at the track.

Great site and a lot of knowledgeable folks on here, looking forward to learning from you all and will share info as the build progresses.
