Default Got Me a 64!

Hey guys, while i've been a member for awhile i haven't posted very much.I had aquired a 65 tempest some years back that i had planned to clone as a GTO and do as a restomod. However even after building me a garage just to build the car,my follow through building has been long overdue.I managed many parts to build the car as i wanted.I just was slow about moving forward.I had always had 64 GTO's years ago and thats just really what i wanted, but prices today are way beyond any i've owned before.
Well recently i came across a 64 that needed a lot of TLC,a frame off which was even my plans with the 65. While the car was built with a lot of options including all power steering, brakes, pwr windows and pwr antenna there was the missing original 389/4bbl and 3sp. But i'm very excited to have gotten the car and i will use the extra frame and many of the parts i planned to use on the 65. So appreciate being able to view threads and learn from experiences of other members and also the input shared. ThanksDeWayne

Very nice I hope you enjoy your newest car , it's always a great feeling when you get a car you've been wanting for a long time.
