Question Paint For Fiberglass

Thinking of painting my Vette myself. I've restored many cars and trucks and have done the paint myself, but never fiberglass. Any tips or suggestions for paint and primers to use?

Paint it like you would a regular car, just DON'T break thru the gel coat.
Exposed fiberglass is like a chemical sponge.. hence the gel coat
do that, and you will need to make sure you use a urethane, or epoxy primer first to seal the area

And don't use any flex additive...
I've bitched about that garbage enough, that I wont re-hash it
