Default Don,t understand rear brakes thing???

Well i raced my car 3 seasons at about 110 in the quarter, but i don,t understand or know if my rear disc brakes are working to its max. level. I jack up my car, start it up take motor to say 3,000 slam on brakes and rear wheels stop but after removing rear drag radials there,s not even a mark or any ware pattern on the rotors at all. They are drilled but should i not see something????? I have fine lines complete disc brake conversion kit. I just want to make sure there working properly. I also just installed a Willwood complete master brake master. NO LEAKS ANYPLACE!!!! How do i know how much pressure is going to the back & how much should i have there?????

It doesn't mean their not wroking because of not seeing any signs on the rotors.

Also A proportionate valve, usually puts more pressure on the front disk then the back.
The things they hide, the way they spin things, the excuses that they make and the things they omit.

what Lou said...the front brakes do most of the braking.
and the proportion valve makes sure the back brakes don't lock up, by reducing pressure there.
you could take the rear brakes off, and you would still stop almost just as good.
that's what a lot of racers do, if the rules allow brakes on one axle only.
they'd remove the back brake drums, shoes, and all springs/hardware
and bolt the wheels directly to the axles
saves weight
