Default clutch fork/belhousing issues.

i'm in the process of converting my 68 firebird from auto, to four speed. i bought a bop belhousing, and ordered a manual trans conversion kit, and in the kit, it had a clutch fork, and when it sits on the pivot ball, it has the fork, and bearing sitting too low. it won't sit centered in the housing, if it's on the pivot ball. this is the fork i have. it's not a side to side issue, either, it sits vertically too low, so it's not a matter of the throwout bearing being centered on the fork.

Default

well, never mind.. upon further inspection, it looks like i was sold a G-body bellhousing, which has the pivot ball stud off center and can't use the straight clutch fork.
