I hear you, been in limbo myself for last 3 years. Either got the money and no time, or all the time in the world and no money. I did make a couple of test passes last year, 9.30 on pump gas. But definitely need a convertor change, my goal was 8.90 on pump gas, but thatís not going to happen. Sold the top end. Now have health issues. My mind like a kid, but my body says no !

Great, I am going to a rental Monday. I have less motor than you and a stick shift. Should be fun if it hooks!

Just wanted to share with you guys. Went to the track last night. Ran it out once. It was breaking up some on the top. Needs plugs. I haven't changed them in a while, and forgot to take some. Left at 3,400 rpm on 2 step with about 1psi. Still on 10psi down the track. I tried to put 2 more psi in it later, but the track got worse and started spinning the tires down track. Not too bad for 3,800 lbs driving 31 miles each way to the track.

Turns out that I wasn't running 10psi. That's what I have it set for, but it developed an exhaust leak and only made 7-ish to 8 psi. I don't look at the boost gauge at the track. And I can't see it at night because of the blue led's that I put in there. I went back to the track today for their Muscle car Drags and went a 6.10 again. Was looking for a 5 and was kinda bummed. On the way home I decided to check the boost because turned the boost controller up 2 more psi and didn't go mph any faster. Gonna make some changes.
