Check twice to be sure
Be sure of the leak area because there are two different types of leaks on a PS Unit. One is the several threaded tube nuts or threaded bulheads Then there are several O-ring seals at the bulkheads, pinion shaft, or piston rod guide. If you are a tech the rebuild will be a no brainer because you will have the "special tools". If you are a newby by all means condider a reman/exchange or doner car from the bone yard or impound lot.
FYI. when I was young and dumb I once pulled a PS unit that was OK. The oil pan gasket was seeping from above! nuffsaid
