Rick:....Calvin, You just have to keep throwing little jabs out there. I didn't really want to go here but if you throw jabs expect some to come back your way.

There is no reason he can't if the engine is healthy. It took him 2 years to recover from the first 2 blown up engines he got from you. He hasn't hurt it since he built it himself other than had to spend $2000 fixing the internal cracks in the cylinder heads he also got from you. That set his racing back another 6 months or so. Is there a common thread there or is it just a coincidence and Keith has bad luck? I don't know. He only has about 75 passes on this engine and has gone faster with less ci. We don't know yet what kind of issue it has developed in the last couple weeks. Maybe a crack from the combustion chamber into the engine internally, head gasket, crack in the head into the cooling system like before, bad oil leak, or?? It will get figured out. I do know that the bottom end has held up just fine.

I ran 9.38 5 years ago. I ran 9.35 this last weekend. I didn't think that was an issue. I ran 9.20's last year. I lowered the compression ratio and I don't have it set on kill this year. It's all about going rounds without working on it every weekend.

Rick, everyone knows truth behind Kieth deal, what Calvin forgets is the post he made on PY acknowledging problems with heads. He fixe for nothing and more then likely may have damage Crank. Then. Wonder if it was ever checked initially blow up.
