Did you ever consider doing it yourself?

Kevin Tetz (one of the hosts on Trucks!) has a DVD series out called "Paintucation" and also hosts a forum dedicated to the topic.
Lots of sources for the DVD's, including his website:

The forum is at: http://www.leopardsystems.com/paintucationforum

I'm doing all my own work on my 69 GTO and had zero experience when I started. I've done rust repair patches on some areas, replaced a complete quarter panel, and the car is now ready for paint - and it's dead straight.
It took me a lot longer than it would a "pro", but the benefit is that I know every square inch of this car now from the base metal up, and I know it's right.

Just food for thought...

Just saw this post.

There`s a good body shop down near me;(Kenwood Auto Body),that I highly recommend.

They`re good at what they do,and they actually give a shit.

One of my buddys works down there, and he does side work.

He fixed my wifes Tacoma, which came out great. He also painted some stuff for my Harley, which looks as good,if not better than the factory parts.

I can put you in touch with him if interested.
