I've been in the 9.80s not because the engine won't do more, but because I'm having a suspension issue. I broke the diagonal link on one run. The car went into a nasty tire shake on the street once too while black tracking. We've been all over the rear suspension and found nothing, were guessing its partly due to the front Moroso trick springs having sagged un evenly over time. One so
IDE will actually sit on the stop, I'm probably going to go to some double adjustable coil overs that fit in the factory spring pockets and see if it helps.

The car is still most of the time like its on a string until you lift, then the issues pop up.
It's an odd problem and seems to have been exacerbated by the radials out back.

Ironically the tire shake and first time I had the issue pop up was up in the video in the first post of this old thread.

They are 315 radials, I think they are at 15 psi right now on the street.

The car just turns them to smoke on the street but so far they hook crazy hard at the track.

If you guys look at the last hit, when I lift you can look at the tip of the hood and see it wagging back and forth. It's much more pronounced out back. Can't seem to get it figured out.

When I ran BFG radials on the street, anything under 20psi and it was like having bias-ply slicks, would get the high end wiggle.

This thing is straight and true until I lift. I've tried pressures all over the place. It seems to more of a rolling motion of the body at least out back up front it's more side to side it's kind if hard to explain. It happened with the m/t streets too a few times but has gotten worse. Breaking that diagonal link was an eye opener.

It started w ET streets at 130 mph tied down the front went away, came back at 138 tied down tighter went away, came back at 146. Front ends got about 2.5 inches of travel at this point. Lol
