17th annual Pontiac Heaven weekend April 18-20 Phoenix

Hello everyone , I would like to invite all fans of real Pontiac V8 power to attend the 17th annual Pontiac Heaven weekend in the Phoenix area April 18-20.
Pontiac Heaven is happy and proud to be at our new location- Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Formerly called Firebird, our new location is now the only Pontiac event held on a NHRA national event track. We will have 2 days and 1 night of drag racing, lots of track time, 2 day swap meet, 2 car shows, special guests including Jim Wangers and Jeff Kauffman.

More information coming. Make plans to be here, it is a Pontiac event destination like no other! Bring the family, there is a lot do do right in the immediate area- casino gaming, almost unlimited shopping, horseback riding, golf, dining- from 5 star to burgers, Rawhide 1880's town and more. On Monday, there will be tours of collector salvage yards.

2 months away. This weekend is the NHRA national event where the pros will be getting the track ready for us!

For the Sunday portion of Pontiac Heaven weekend, our Pontiacs will take one other makes for our cool day of nostalgia!


Shown in the event flyer is the Pontiac powered Top Fuel Dragster of the team of Turk/Cox/Braswell. I have recently located and purchased this car and it is being restored. We will show it for the first time here in 2 months with the original team members present! Here is a newspaper clipping of the car at the ground breaking ceremony of the famous Beeline Dragway in 1963!
