Default 1971 GMC SPRINT (EL CAMINO) 396/402 big block Chevy #'s matching

https://scranton.craigslist.org/cto/...760932117.html

listing for a close friend I've known for 40 years. he's not a net savvy guy but is selling off some old projects. this is an original numbers matching 1971 GMC Sprint Custom "Invader", i.e. GMC version of an El Camino. They had the same Chevelle front clip with truck bed. It is NUMBERS MATCHING engine/trans/rear, with factory air conditioning, TH400 transmission with column shift, called a 400 but is actually a 396 bored to 402 cubic inches at the factory. Car is shown complete but now the front clip is removed and engine is out, otherwise complete. you get it all including $2000 worth of NOS replacement trim and parts. GREAT DEAL $6000 obo. call cell 570-606-5454

and you can always change the frame mounts and put a Pontiac 455 in it

yeh I can't believe it all these Chevy guys clone the SS454 from a Chevelle 307 or straight 6 car, but here's the real deal McCoy numbers matching and it's sitting with no takers. all the Chevy guys are turning their nose up to it. maybe cuz it's a GMC ??
