Default Post your plug pics.......

Anyone got any plug pics they care to share? Like what would you consider a good or bad plug pic.

Here is one from my car last year. This is usually what i like to see...Maybe get the timing mark just a touch further away from the bend. But its pretty close and the car ran really well.

no visible fuel ring, and timing mark around .030 from the end of the strap. There was no gain in mph from that plug and adding a degree of timing to it. It ran exactly the same, but the timing mark would even get closer to the bend. So i pulled it back out and left it there. No point in having the extra timing if it didnt help it in my opinion.

Here is one where the timing mark is a little closer to where I like it, still no visible fuel ring.

that was with a fogger, high port heads. Usually 36 nitrous 28 fuel at 4 3/4 pounds. Timing was usually around 16 total in the heat, and in good air around 14 total.

Went 5.35 in the 1/8th at 3530 lbs with a 1.31 60 foot having some trouble making the wheelie bars work. Mph was 132 in the 1/8th.

They look great! Tuneup tells me you got a pretty good idea of what is going on.

The strap is OK for an e-head, my experience was you could run as fat and overtimed as you wish, put the heat mark all out the strap and it would hang in there. I think it is the super slow chamber!

I was at a mining customer talking about the overhaul cycles we are doing on their 3,700hp twin turbo 20 cylinder engines... Gotta eat ;-) I will call you tonight.

-10 NGK or Autolite 3932. Depending on your preference. Jet is totally dependent on how much you want to make. Are you talking about the plate I made?

How much poop do you want to start out with? Can the converter take leaving on 175 straight up?
