Default Horn Problem - Help !!

Hello !! New Member Here...My 1st Question !!

65 GTO: I had to re-install my deluxe steering wheel / horn ring after my turn signals were not canceling. I believe the ground path for horn goes from the contact to the metal ring on back of cancel cam, thru to the tower/spring/plunger, then thru the steering wheel to the horn contact/
horn ring. Please confirm. All that is in place in the following order over the steering shaft: cancel cam-heavy spring-steering wheel/horn ring as a unit.
My problem is that after reconnecting the battery, the horn blows constantly.
---What Am I Doing Wrong ? ---This has been an ongoing problem, fixed once b4 by someone else, but the sequence of the cancel cam/heavy spring was reversed. I believe that's what caused the turn signal issue. Help !!

It is getting grounded somewhere in the circut. If it's not at the horn button back check down the harness that a wire isn't pinched.

I have now checked the black ground wire from the switch down the column to where it enters a wire harness, and then to the relay. Everything looks good.
What could be the problem ??
