Default And The NEW!! PONTIAC E.T. RECORD Holder

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Scott Roberts ( DrunkinInjun )

Quote:
Testing conducted today by Scott Roberts (aka DrunkinInjun) and crew with David Wilcox driving at a very cold Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, VA. The AllPontiac IA-2/Tiger powered blown alky funny car, on its third pass ever, recorded the quickest E.T. ever in the standing 1/4 mile by a traditional Pontiac powered vehicle.

6.599 @ 184.85 MPH

The run breaks down as follows:

60' = .996
330' = 2.741
660' = 4.182 @ 170.36 MPH
1000' = 5.451
1320' = 6.599 @ 184.85 MPH

Wilcox lifted on this run after getting out of the groove on the top end.

The run previous to this one netted a 6.72 @ 204.91 MPH with a 1.03 60'. Scott reports they left the fuel alone for all 3 passes today, with the only tuning change being between the second and final runs when they bumped up the timing a little bit.

RACE WEIGHT = 2455 LBS.

Congratulations to Scott, David, and AllPontiac on a fine effort, and I'm sure there's plenty more left in this combination.

Video's were shot of the second and final runs and will be posted up as soon as possible.

Fine effort by all involved.

Yup...in the horsepower war, some are shooting BB's while others are shooting Howitzer's.

Yep, A big congrads to the entire team effort. So how quick does anyone think they will be able to run flat out? First 5 second all Pontiac pass?

Don't think so...I think once they get it dialed in 6.20's would be the norm. Need to tweak the fuel some and find the sweet spot for timing first, they're already throwing enough air at it.

Congrats Scott.

Lou, I think by making it a sticky right away it goes un-noticed since nobody is used to looking at the top of the page.
