Default Re: Kaase P51 vs CV-1 Head

Rockin462, I only mentioned the mpg thing as past experience has proven to me that a well built engine does do as well as a stock low compression smogger engine. And I'll ALWAYS take the power increase!!

Our last n/a pro street car ran with 4.10 gears and 3200 convertor, on the trip to the street machine nats, we only filled it up 3 times. We live about 140 miles from there, and with a 12 gallon tank, isn't alot of fuel. Burned up first tank getting there and sitting in line for hours, cruising twice around the fairgrounds, then down to the shell station on the corner of the fairgrounds. Filled it up, did enough burnouts and played enough to go though the new M/T's, (bad enough we was hoping to make it home on the cords!!!) on the second tank, filled it up, played a little before heading home. It held 9.5 gallons when we got home. Cheap for the playing and bs out of town loop the cops made us do.
