Thumbs up Crower Hyd Roller Lifters! Info inside!

I have been working with Dave Crower on a hyd roller cam for our 383 Pontiac stroker. He has agreed to custom make 15 sets of Pontiac Hyd Roller Lifters! 9 sets are already spoken for. If anyone would like to be included call PPR asap!! The price is $475. These will be the quality you expect from Crower! I am getting 3 sets in a few days and I will post pics then!

Be Cool,
Ace

Thumbs up

Fantastic!
I'll purchase them as well as the cam, push rods and gaskets through you once I figure what cam I want.

Do you do custom grinds?
My combo is a little odd.

-I have a 4000 lb 64 Bonneville, street sleeper, looking for more low end cruising torque (1100-2000).
-2.56 posi.
-4 speed Super hydro 3.97 first (2000 stall), 2.50 second ,1.50 third, 1.00 fourth. The hydro has no torque converter slip in second through fourth much like a stick. It pulls on the engine at light cruise @1000-1500 rpm.
-governor shifts at 5000 rpm in L, so any power over 5000 rpms is a waste.

-462 6X heavily ported, 9.2, 60919 Rhoads, Quadrajet.

Thanks

Thanks

They are made by Competition. I thought they were made by Crower.

So did I! Eventualy they will have a Crower link bar. But aparently they get them from the same factory as Competition. Suposedly the problems associated with the Comps has been fixed. As I have sold 23 sets with no problems and they run great in my 383 Pontiac!
Sorry for the mix up. I guess when they put a Crower link bar they will be Crowers! LOL!!!!
You can send them back if you like for a FULL refund.

Be Cool,
Ace

I think you are referring to the lifter we are trying to get to market. It's a Koerner flat tappet roller lifter. In other words, the lifter base spins on a needle bearing. We are having issues getting parts made but getting close. You can check out the lifters at www.koernerracing.com .
