Default Dirty Bird LIVES!

Yesterday in Deltaville, Dave and Dave did the initial fire-up of Dirty Bird's new engine. I couldn't be there due to some medical issues, but reports are excellent. No runs, no drips, no errors... Dave (no, the other one) says it sounds "crispier" than the 475 did... (:-

Still waiting for the driveshaft. It SHOULD be here this week. If so, testing Saturday at VMP!!!

Once we have some performance "numbers", I'll talk about the new combination.

Jim

Going back on "safari"! (hunting elephants...)

So glad to hear Dirty Bird a live and well. I'm sure we can expect more out of it this time around. Awesome news!

Thanks for the up date.

Gach, you mean "can" right? Instead of "can't".
Bigger engine with better heads, I expect more out of it, not less.

I can't say for sure, but Dave has indicated the car is going. I probably can't. Just had surgery, and can't be sure how I'll "weather" the weather...

He also says he's got the "tune" figured and it WILL be quick!

Troy,

Went to the shop today. Worked about 4 hours (first time). It was hot during the drive home. But all I am is tired. NO pain. This is important. I'll make my decision by Monday. If the heat still isn't hurting, I'll be fine.

Bob C. will tow DB up for Dave. I'll ride with Rick, and a few other of the Tidewater crowd are coming.
