Default valve Location

Big Speed or anyone else. What is the valve location of the original Tiger Head, without moving the intakes over, compared to an Edelbrock head?

Can you run the same piston between the two heads or do you need to change the valve pocket to make sure you have enough radial clearance? I know the tiger has a 12 degree valve angle, just interested in location right now.

Jim71 , All production Tiger heads intake centerline is about .050 closer to cylinder center than the Eddy RPM head...they were originally the same...and then we moved the intake center way back when (2005-06) When we build engines for guys with edelbrock heads...we use our Tiger piston . The valve fits radially , and they can always upgrade to Tiger without changing pistons. So yes , we use one piston , but I've never done it with a std. valve location piston. The Tiger piston has 11cc of valve relief in it total (fairly large) so there's room. Hope this helps. Johnny
