I would first get a simple 12 volt lite tester, put the key on and first see if you have currant going to the distrib. something could of blown. Secondly HEI coils are in the middle of the cap. Pull the 4 small screws and make sure everything is intact. Coil may have gone south. Rule of thumb, If you have spark and fuel it has to run. Guessing its right there in the distrib. Knocked a wire off inside while hooking up tach wire probably.
