Default I just ordered

I just ordered a new Alum. rad. for my 73 GTO from a comp. called V-Tech & it is the same as the one KKS sells for $ 189.00. It's the one that is all Alum. & has the side tanks that look just like an original Harrison rad. Has the stamped tanks & I got it for $ 175.00. I know it's not a lot off the selling price but hay save a few & you can get some more stuff for your car. I should bet it on monday according to the reply so I'll let all know. It has to be better then the one I had , & it looks like a new Harrison too. I don't know if I'll paint it black or not I'll have to wait & see how it looks when it gets here. I got the one that is number 161 as thats the one that says will be a direct bolt in. The pic looks great. The comp. is V-Direct not V-tech. Sorry about that but it come from KKS.

I got my rad today from KKS & it looks great. I have some new hoses coming for it & they will also be here on thur. so once I get them I'll hook it all up & see how it goes. The rad has tanks that look just like the old Harrison brass/copper rad I had in it when it was new & this one if I'd paint it brass color you wouldn't be able to tell it apart. It's all Alum & is the same size & has the edges of the tanks the same to so it fits in the rubber mounts of my 73 GTO shroud perfect. I ordered one with the auto cooling tanks just in case I ever go to an auto, but for right now I'll run my M-22 as long as I can. Well as long as my back & knees hold out. When the weather breaks I'll let you know how it cools, suppose to cool 35% better then the brass/copper rad.

The champion radiators have been working good out here, even when the outside temp hit 110

As I said I only paid $ 175.00 for mine & it looks great & the welds are all perfect & costs a bit less then yours , & the KKS rad. is made by Champion which they are a good rad.

Well the rad is in & looks great & better yet it works great too. It went in just the way it should have & just as if the factory had done it. Also I ordered the upper & lower hoses new from Rock Auto & was really surprised to find the lower hose came with the spring in the hose, & it cost less for the upper & lower hoses if I'd bought them here in town from autozone or one of the others, that don't come with the spring. Again the rad came from a CO. called KKS & has the same style of tanks as the old Harrison rad had. It looks just like it in all welded Alum. If I were to paint it black you'd never know it wasn't a factory rad. Plus it was only $ 175.00 shipped to my home.

I'm glad I bought this as it looks & works great & the cost was 1/2 of the price of an equal rad that would look & work the same. I'm glad it worked that way to.
