Default Anyone use Butler's RH alt relocate kit?

How far is the alternator from cyl hd and hedder?
My home made one leaves about 1/8" clearence.
Worried about heat during normal cruis'n.

I bought one 3 years ago. Haven't used it yet. Gotta find it too. Thought 89.00 was a little spendy for what I got.

here is a pic. I am not worried about heat as the alt has a cooling fan plus it is behind the rad fan getting air movement
