I agree. The performance I had with the carb was great. No complaints. The cost of EFI was significant given that I already had most of the parts I needed to go blow thru. But if I had been starting from scratch it wouldnt have been as bad.
The only reason that my car will be quicker with EFI is just the ease of tuning. I can fine tune the boost, fuel and timing quickly and with no mess. But the main reason I wanted EFI is driveability. It ran great with carb but is just easier to drive now.
