Question Firebird Fuel Pump Q@a

My sister has a 94 TA and the fuel pump may be bad. I hear the rearend has to be dropped to get the tank out any other options?

check fuel filter see if clogged turn key dont start hear whine pump might be ok check fuel pump fuse if no whine.. if is fuel pump cut hole in trunk hopefully in right spot (not recomended) when changing pump make sure it comes wit new wires (inside tank) or get them, had mine arc together killed 2 pumps that way napa gave me new wires with the pump

Have to drop exhuast too.
Need about 2'-3' clearance.
Leave control arms attached, and pivot rear end down.

Thanks for the info,guys... went and looked at it yesterday put a gallon of gas in it and lo and behold, started rite up. the sender must have stuck cause the guage sed a quarter of a tank...
