Default When are drag radials done?

I just had a set of BFG drag radials given to me. How can I tell when they are completely worn out?

When they get heat cycled too much just like Sportbike motorcycle tires they get a gray/bluish look too them and they no longer hook consistently....Or when they have so little tread left or cords hanging out that the tech line guy gives you that you know better look and shakes his head "NO" at the dragstrip...But if he's like the guy at our local track....he wont even see a 3 inch gash in the sidewall of a tire. I pointed it out to a guy after he just passed tech and he about turned white!.....He thanked me profusely and loaded the car back up on the trailer.

When you see steel belt. Just kidding. Had that happen to me. On my ET streets there are wear indicators like on my slicks. Not much left when the tire is bald.
