Default front springs

i want to lower the front of my 79 firebird the 165r15 leave alot of wheel gap. the car is a street/strip car so moroso trick springs are out of the question. i am not sure about drop springs so what about a set of 6cyl springs?

What about some drop spindles the 6 cylinder springs might be a little to soft and mushy if you have all the weight in the car. You will have a better ride with the 8 cyl springs.
