Default my 68

Started stripping my car down to do the bodywork and paint. Honestly have to say this is one of the most solid cars i have ever worked on. Absolutely no rust or bondo or any surprises on this car. Just a few dings and a small dent in the drivers side rear corner.
When was the last time anyone has seen a firebird tail panel that was not rusted around the tail lights?

This one should get done pretty fast, just a few dings and small dent in corner of lower left valance.
Thinking of Tyrol blue for the final color

Got all the bodywork done and painted all the jams. Just have to do a final wet sand and I'm ready to spray the body. Got to get this thing done for Pontiac heaven.

Finally got some paint on my car. Just have to wet sand some bugs and dust out of the clear and I can start to assemble the car. Not bad for a $9.99 HF Gun.

I got to tell you this is a real refreshing thread. On the gun, not bad at all, that baby will wet sand a buff out very nicely. Sound like someone got a nack for laying on some paint. With a mediocre gun, good job. Cars nice an straight.

PS: love the color!

It's a GM medium blue metallic I picked out of the PPG book at the paint supply store. I can get the numbers if you want.
next I have to re spray the engine compartment with some semi black urethane before I drop the engine and transfer in.

Looks close to my Camaro painted 2013 Viper GTS Blue when it's in the sun. Here it is in the garage.
