Default Striping a hood for paint

I know a company that uses nut shells to blast a hood, but wondering if there,s a better way??? Anybody close to Pa. that chemically strips hoods???

I use the stuff they sell at the depot and wall mart. If there's a few coats of paint and primers you need to apply and scape a few times. Then I go over with a DA and clean up with denatured alcohol before primer.
You can shear a sheep many times, but you can only skin them once.
